Over time, our pastures can become old and “tired”. Repeated harvesting, droughts and wet winters all tend to thin out the pasture, allowing weeds to establish.

The soil aerator leaves many openings for the seed to fall into and germinate.

While lowering the risk of failing to germinate, it also reduces the amount of seed that birds might eat.

11 October 2021 - Grass grub damage is obvious. Harrowed twice. Over sowed using mini spreader then harrowed again.
